FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) About Bottle Lights
Q: Do you do all the painting of the lighted bottles or do you trace or use templates?
A: I paint all the lighted bottles free hand.
Q: What kind of paint do you use?
A: I use acrylic and acrylic gloss. It is easy to use, economical and dries quickly. Lighted Bottles should be dusted with dry cloths.
Q: Can I put my bottle in the dishwasher?
A: No, it has electical lights inside. (People ask this all the time)
Q: What do I do if the lights go out?
A: Occasionally one light will go out and you can replace an individual bulb by getting a wire and reaching down through the top of the bottle and lifting the string out. The string will remain on when one bulb is out. There are 20 bulbs on a string. Many of the bottles have a large enough hole in the back to also pull out the lights from the back and even replace an entire string that way. Lights last for hundreds of hours. There are also fuses that go into the plug. Some replacement fuses and lights are in the box with every purchase. They can also be purchased during the holidays where lights are sold.
